Ladders
Vesivek ladders ensure safe climbing to and from the roof, as well as safe exiting from a window or a balcony.
Wall and roof ladder system
Vesivek ladder system can be used to install uniform wall and roof ladders.
Fixed wall ladders are used for climbing to the roof as well as for emergency exiting from a window etc. Ladder feet length and type are selected by the purpose of the ladder.
Roof ladder is installed with ladder feet suitable for each roof type. Roof ladder protects the surface of the roof from getting scratches or from being broken. Roof ladder is connected to the wall ladder.
The tube-type ladder steps are best for steep roofs, this is where one climbes with using hands as support.
Stair-type flat steps are best suitable for quite not so steep roofs, where one climbes in an upright position. Stair-type step supports the feet much better than the tube-type step. Stair-type ladders are recommended for slopes under 1:3.
Safety rail for climbing
CE-approved safety rail for climbing is required for ladders taller than 8 meters. Safety rail is a fixed part of the wall ladder, and the user is attached to the rail by a harness equipped with a cart that runs in a rail. The cart runs freely upwards but is locked if the user falls downwards. The fall is dampened according the EU-regulations by a pair of dampeners, a part of the harness.
Please notice that there is also a Vesivek safety rail for roof bridges.
Launchable safety ladder
Launchable ladder can only be launched from the exiting points far above the ground, and therefore it is an excellent option for emergency exit ladder, when the purpose is to prevent anyone from climbing upwards. Launching is done by pulling a safety pin which opens the ladder, but only downwards from the launching point.
In addition, when closed, launchable ladder is very unnoticeable.
