Snow on the roof

From time to time there is snow on the roof in the most of Europe. Snow means danger both for people and property underneath the roof as well as for roof windows, antennas and other products installed on the roof.

Even a thin layer of  snow gets heavy when it first has melted and then frozen from beneath to one huge clump of ice.

Snow fence controls the movements of snow and ice on the roof and stops it from falling from the roof.

VARMA snow fences

VARMA snow fences are equipped with slots underneath that allow the installation of the product directly to the surface of a sheet metal roof. This means even a very thin ice layer can also be stopped by the snow fence. In addition, these VARMA snow fences can be installed as close to the edge of the roof in order to keep the area between the roof edge and the snow fence clear of ice.
