Vesivek Divoroll Pro Underlayment

Tested structural solutions + the most durable materials = a long-lasting roof

Ventilated structure

We use at least a double-ventilation structure under the roof, meaning that air can circulate both under and over the underlayment. Adequate air circulation is an important factor affecting the durability of the roof. Some older roofs may require a triple or even quadruple ventilation system. Our roofing experts will find the solution that’s right for your roof from over 50 different Vesivek structural solutions.

SSAB Zero™ steel, the most durable coating

For example, you can choose Vesivek roofing sheets made from recycled steel produced using fossil-free energy and featuring the GreenCoat Pural BT Satin coating, which provides maximum protection against UV radiation, corrosion, and soiling. Our roofing panels come with an aesthetic warranty of up to 25 years, a technical warranty of up to 50 years, and an installation warranty of 5 years.

Rot-resistant lumber

Vesivek has been a pioneer in developing and adopting lumber treated with a more environmentally friendly wood preservative. This prevents mold and other growths from taking hold in the roof structure. The preservative meets the requirements of the EN 599-1 standard and is water-based, making it 100% energy-recyclable.

KINGI self-tapping screw

We use KINGI roofing screws for roof renovations. It is the only painted roofing screw that meets the requirements of climate exposure class C4. This means that the screw will last just as long as SSAB’s roofing materials. This durability is ensured by a patented three-layer coating. KINGI screws drive in tightly, without scratches or chips. It comes with a 50-year warranty against corrosion.

Vesivek Divoroll Pro™ Underlayment

Roof underlayment plays an important role in protecting roof structures from condensation and potential roof leaks. Vesivek Divoroll Pro™ is the only breathable roof underlayment that comes with a 30-year warranty. It has excellent mechanical strength and is heavier and thicker than standard underlayment. As a result, it absorbs more water and releases it into the dry air.

Vesivek Arvo Gutter

The Arvo aluminum gutter is the only seamless, rust-proof, and streak-free gutter on the market. Arvo’s outward-curving edge prevents dirty water from running down the side of the gutter, so unsightly streaks cannot form. Arvo is always custom-made on-site to fit the eaves, which prevents leaky gutter extensions. We offer a 60-year guarantee against perforation corrosion for Arvo.

When is it time to repair the roof?

The roof is one of the most important structures in your home—take good care of it! A functional roof must fulfill three functions: it must be watertight, safe, and properly ventilated.

People often assume there are problems with the roof only when water starts leaking inside. However, there may be hidden issues with the roof, which are often caused by poor ventilation. Signs of roof problems include:

  • The roof is over 30 years old
  • Cracks or holes in the roof
  • Loose nails or roofing screws
  • Condensation in the roof
  • The roof is leaking
  • Roof underlayment is missing

Look for these signs on your roof if your house has an old roof

Roofing

A roof rarely lasts more than 40 years. Signs of poor roof condition include cracks, loose nails or screws, rust stains, moss, and other vegetation. If water finds its way indoors, you should take action immediately. The longer water is allowed to cause damage to the structure, the more expensive the repairs will be.

Attic

The most reliable way to assess the condition of a roof is from the attic. Any leaks will leave their mark there. Pay special attention to the areas around roof penetrations and flashings. A musty odor indicates insufficient ventilation and a possible condensation problem. Condensation may appear as droplets on the underside of the roof or as dark spots or mold growth on the structural elements.

Gutters and Roof Safety

Signs of rust and holes in the gutters, or rainwater splashing onto the walls, are indications of an outdated system. Snow guards protect the yard and residents, and they also play a major role in moisture control. When snow melts on the roof, moisture doesn’t seep into the walls and the home’s structure. Also check the condition of the ladders and roof access routes.
