Vesivek P13 and P15 Steel Gutters

A round rain gutter provides excellent water flow, as its shape effectively guides the water along the bottom of the gutter. Even small amounts of water flow smoothly, and debris is mostly carried away with the water, reducing the risk of clogging.

The gutter is made of steel with a Nova coating on both sides, ensuring good weather and corrosion resistance. The patented brackets used for mounting are significantly stronger than traditional solutions and reliably withstand Nordic snow and ice loads.

Technical Specifications for the Vesivek Round P13 Classic and P15 Classic Rainwater Systems

The purpose of a rainwater drainage system is to carry water that falls on the roof away from the building so that the structures remain dry and sound. Thanks to the round shape of the P13 and P15 Classic gutters, water flows much more freely than in square rain gutters; even a small amount of water flows along the bottom of the gutter, and debris is mostly carried away on its own.

  • The round profile promotes water flow.
  • Vesivek P13 Classic (standard size); the Vesivek P15 Classic is suitable for applications where the standard size does not provide sufficient performance.
  • Patented brackets made of ultra-hard special steel are used for mounting. The brackets far exceed durability standards, meeting even the requirements of the heavy-duty durability class specified in SFS-EN 1462.
  • Thanks to the external brackets, cleaning is easy.
  • Designed and manufactured in Finland.

P13 Classic and P15 Classic Rainwater Systems: Design and Installation Instructions

Cross-sections and flow cross-sectional areas of the Vesivek P13 Classic and P15 Classic round gutters and downspouts

Design Guidelines for the Classic P13 and P15 Stormwater Systems

To ensure that rainwater gutters have a sufficient slope (5 mm/meter), the maximum recommended distance between downspouts (slope) is 15 meters. The table is based on instruction sheet RT 85-11020, assuming that downspouts are installed at equal intervals relative to the roof surface area. If the roof is low-sloped, the table should be interpreted based on the actual (not horizontal) roof area.

Mounting and Sliding Outlets for the Vesivek Rain Gutter

External gutter brackets (except K15) are manufactured by roll forming. The bracket is stronger than a flat-bar bracket and its paint adheres better because it has no sharp corners. The external brackets are patented. In buildings without fascia boards, the external brackets can be attached directly to the top of the roof rafter using a so-called tail hook, or to the side of the roof rafter using a side support. A sliding outlet is a connector between the gutter and the downspout. Expansion joints for long gutters can be incorporated into the sliding outlets. This prevents visible seams and ensures that the expansion joints do not leak.
